  • Hi Shinah12, I have had a search for details on Horbury for you, and found that there is indeed a park in the village. This is the site of the annual Horbury Show, a local event that encourages residents to get out and meet their neighbours, as well as taking the opportunity to try out the many activities and visit a wide array of stalls. Throughout the year, though, this park can be an open space that you can take advantage of for any number of reasons, such as walking a family dog, having a picnic, or just enjoying an afternoon when the weather improves with a gentle stroll. In addition to this park, there is also a walk that you can enjoy, taking a planned out route already in existence between Horbury and the larger settlement of Wakefield. This is a riverside walk that lets you enjoy some wonderful views.
