Advice on buying land

Can you give me advice on how to buy land? What are the pitfalls to be aware of? How to decide if it is worth buying?

  • Hi Nisso, It’s a big subject and really depends why you want it i.e. to build a house, keep a horse etc. Price is often about 30% of what the finished property is worth if looking at development ie finished house worth £100,000, land therefore circa £30,000. Beware land buying schemes, some of which are fraud. Hope that helps. Jonathan Rolande :-)
